Ameris Bancorp is a financial holding company. The Company conducts its operations through its banking subsidiary, Ameris Bank (the Bank), which provides a range of banking services to its retail and commercial customers. The Company's segments include Banking Division, Retail Mortgage Division, Warehouse Lending Division, SBA Division and Premium Finance Division. The Banking Division includes delivery of financial services, including commercial loans, consumer loans and deposit accounts. The Retail Mortgage Division includes the sales and servicing of one-to-four family residential mortgage loans.
